AN INVITATION TO ENTER THE 2025 JUNIOR TEAM GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP
Clubs around Scotland with Junior Sections are eligible to enter the 2025 Junior Team Golf Championship.
Both Boys and Girls are welcome as we encourage all Juniors. The Championship is a Handicap Competition with a maximum handicap of 20.4 for both Boys and Girls.
The format for play at each event is a single Strokeplay round with a team comprising of six players, with the best Scratch Score from the top three players then four from the next five Net scores giving a final total. The sixth players score, which although originally discarded, would become “live” in the event of a tie.
JTG will host six Regional Quarter Finals, two in each of the North, West and East Regions of Scotland.
The top two teams from each Quarter Final will progress to one of our three National Semi Finals.
The top two teams from each of our National Semi Finals will ultimately play in the Scotland National Final. The 2025 National Final will be played over Mortonhall Golf Club in Edinburgh on the weekend of 4th/5th October.
